Happy Labor Day

As the holiday approaches I sit here by myself with my faithful computer and decide to post some pictures.  I did try to find some flights to my Hometown of Minerva, but they were all full.  Then I thought well let’s see if I can make it to Florida to see my family.  Then I remembered the hurricanes heading their way.  So now Averi and I are just going to hang out at the house and enjoy the last big weekend of the summer.  And if you live up north, you know what that means… winter is just around the corner.  YUK!  Well, at least this winter I’ll be able to make a snowman, build an igloo and go sled riding.  So, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and hope to see someone, anyone, real soon.

The bash of the year!

Well today we had a huge bash for Jillian’s Birthday.  As you can see they came from all walks of life to celebrate.

  She received a bunch of nice gifts.  Like…mermaids, crafts, animals and of course Hannah Montana stuff.   The only thing missing was Luke.  He had to work today.  But that’s one of the sacrifices of being a pilot.  However he was there in spirit and frosting.  He made the “High School Musical” cake for Jilly.  It looked much better than that before I took the picture, but there was so much going on I forgot to get a shot of it before they took off all the cool stuff and cut it up.  My bad!  I did get it on the video camera though.  It was cute!

San Francisco Vacation

If you’ve been checking our blog, you’ve probably noticed we haven’t posted lately.  Well, that’s because we went to the Luengo Family Reunion in Ca.  And of course we have pictures.  Lots and lots of pictures.   I will give you the summarized version of our “family vacation photo’s” for your viewing pleasure.  Plus I don’t have a lot of time myself.  I’m getting ready for Jillian’s first day of Second Grade on August 21st and her 7th Birthday Party at Chuck E. Cheese on August 23rd.  And OH YES…there will be pictures.
