Fun in the Sun!

Filed under: Home Life — Toni @ 3:34 pm

I took the girls swimming at the neighbors pool today.  Averi was a trooper handling all the splashes in her face from her sister and friend.  She loves to float in her raft.  Hopefully some day she will want to scuba dive with her Old Mom in the Keys.

Averi loves all the attention Jillian gives her.  She’s actually kind of spoiled.  If she’s in the mood for someone to pay attention to her, she’ll let you know.  She lets the whole neighborhood know.  I wonder how that could have happened?

The doctor says it’s time for orange vegetables too!  YUMMY!

Hannah Montana Concert

Filed under: Home Life — Toni @ 7:30 pm

Well, we’re patiently awaiting the Hannah Concert in 3-D to start.  Jillian and her friend Makala are very excited.   They can hardly stand the wait.  I think I’ve told them ”how many more minutes till it starts” about 485 times.  You gotta love the Hannah Craze.

We went to my company picnic today and had a blast.  Jillian won the first game of Bingo and found a lot of pennies in the penny pool.  Averi was a hit as well.  Everyone just adored her.  Grandpa Joe (our director of maintenance) carried her around until she passed out.  Luke was smart enough to bring the playpen so she just slept in there while we played Baggo and the balloon toss.  Of course Jill and I were the first ones out on that game.

Averi is getting bigger and bigger each day.  Luke took her to her 4 month doctor appointment for her shots Friday.  The doctor sais she’s very strong.  As you can see she has tackled the milestone of holding her head up.

Luke’s making me do this

Filed under: Home Life — Luke @ 8:47 pm

Hi Everybody.  So Luke is going to get me hooked on doing Blog’s now, because taking care of Averi, Jillian, Luke, the house, my job, keeping in touch with family and friends, writing music, taking pictures of the kids just isn’t enough.  I need more to do.  More, more, more…..

So, here’s the scoop on me.  I love my new part time job, my wonderful family, our house and for now the weather.  Soon you will read how Luke and I hate the snow and 30 below days here in the frozen tundra.  But for now, we’re pretty happy.

Averi is rolling all over the place now.  You really gotta watch her or she ends up in the neighbor’s yard.  Just kidding.  She is a mover and a shaker though.  As soon as Luke gets our computer back from the repair shop, (yes the tight wad actually took it in to get fixed) I have some cute pictures I had taken of her that we will put up.

That’s it for me.  I suppose I’ll be back, but only if I see comments from all of you.  Have a great day.

Blog Update

Sorry for the lack of posts.

My desktop has a virus and is currently out of service.  Somebody sent me a FTP program for the computer and it had a virus attached.  I totally trusted that this was a good program but when I questioned it I found out it was pirated.  I am so PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway I could have had it fixed faster if I took it to somebody but I’m too cheap.  So I have been playing tech guy whenever I can.  I think I am on the home stretch so look for a lot of posts soon.

Medical Bill’s

Well I spent all day yesterday morning on the phone with the insurance company, Dr.’s offices, and hospitals.  What a pain in the butt.  All of these different places haven’t got paid yet and they want their money.  So I call the insurance company to find out the prob and walla “Claim Denied.”  But why you ask?????  Claim name and patient name do not match.  I asked why didn’t anyone call to ask about it and the response was, we just wait for you to call.  I swear there is not customer service in the world anymore.  No one takes pride in what they do anymore and boy does this get under my skin.

OK fell better no that I got that off my chest………….Now to the family.

Averi and I went out and got the oil changed in the car.  In the spirit of the day before the 4th she wanted to dress appropriately.

I Love My Bumbo

I Love My Bumbo

In the afternoon we had some carpet people come by to give us estimates.  Of course Toni wanted to buy the first thing she looked at.  The second person that came by was 72 years old and she drove a big Suburban.  She was here forever, it took her forever to do all of her measurements.  But the best part of the story is when she left.  I said thanks at the front door and went out on the back deck.  All of a sudden it sounds like someone was doing donuts in the cul-de-sac.  Then came this big truck bouncing through my yard.  Out climbs grandma.  She backed out the driveway fine and thought the road was through my yard.  She found out real fast when her left front tire fell of into my culvert.  Then she gunned it to get unstuck and went bouncing through my ditch and yard.  So I had to back it out for her and then sent her on her way.  I’m glad I wasn’t driving last night between her and the drunks I’m sure it was crazy on the roads.
