Let it snow???
As summer rolled by with the highs only in the 70’s here in Illinois, Mother Nature had one more trick up her sleeve… snow in October. Yes we had our first snow yesterday. (Saturday Oct. 10th). We tried to make the best of it by going to our
community’s Octoberfest. There were plenty of crafts, games and drawings. We even judged a Chili Cook Off. We kept busy doing crafts at home too. So enjoy the pics and have a Happy Halloween!

Where does the time go????
OK. So after numerous amounts of requests, and a few threats from the grandparents, I finally got back in to the blogging world so I could put some pictures up of the kids. This summer was wonderful. We did a lot of traveling, as you will see. We did have quite a scare when the baby ended up in the hospital for 3 days. After a spinal tap, MRI, EEG, blood work, flu test and catscan, the diagnosis…a virus. But she’s all better now and moving and a shaking like God intended her to. So I hope you enjoy the pictures and I will try to get back on a little sooner than 6 months this time. God Bless you all!

Miss Averi is 1!!!
Ok, so there were two parties thrown in honor of Averi turning 1. One was every baby’s dream birthday at Hooters and the other a Country Hoedown at the house. We had a great time at both shindigs. Grammy, Great Grandmother and Keith all flew in for the occasion. Averi may not remember the party but she can look at the pictures and tell how much her family loves her.
Vacation in the Dells, High Ho the Merrio, Vacation in the Dells
To escape the bitter winds of the Midwest we went on a mini vacation even further up north. A blizzard hit while we were there but everything was indoors so it was still a, much needed, wonderful vacation. We took our neighbors grand-daughter with us so Jill could have a buddy. She was a hoot. As you can see we had plenty to do in the short time we were there, 2 days. We didn’t get any pictures at the water park because we didn’t want to worry about a camera while we were riding the tides.
Averi did quite a few “firsts” that weekend. She rode her first merry go round, went down the water slides, (on Mommy’s lap of course) and took her first shower.
Averi’s on vacation again this weekend with Daddy in Georgia. They are having a wonderful time according to the phone calls. Well, enjoy the photo’s and come back soon for Averi’s First Birthday Parties!

Holidays gone but snow stays!
Hello Family and Friends. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. I know we did. We had a busy December. Luke’s Mom and Keith, my Mom and Dad and of course Santa visited us. As you can see he must have thought Jillian was a good girl last year.
Averi is just growing and growing. Time flies too quickly when you have kids. I miss the days when I could rock her and just sit quietly and watch her sleep. Now it’s go go go! Many new things to figure out how to do.
Luke is beginning to have “Cabin Fever”. I don’t know how, he goes to Miami and stays on the beach for his trips, but he still complains. I know he does not like all this cold weather. Neither do I ,but I love our home so much it doesn’t bother me to just stay inside. Averi’s a fun playmate too. She helps me get thru the cold days.
Just wanted to get caught up a bit with pictures, so enjoy the show….

How sweet it is…
Hello Everyone! Sorry we haven’t stopped by the blog to update you all on the babies. I know some grandparents that are not very happy with us right now. But I’m here to make up for all the lost time.
OK…had to go buy all the baby safety stuff because Miss Averi has seen the light at the end of the tunnel. She’s everywhere. It’s so cute because she is quite small and to see her crawling around it reminds me of my old Baby Alive doll my Grandma bought me when I was a little girl. Especially when the batteries were running low, because Averi’s not real fast yet, but she gets to her destinations just fine.
Jillian got her report card…all A’s! We went to her parent teacher conference and they said she’s doing great! They said she’s quite popular.
As for me, got a part time job at Macy’s for the holidays. I can’t wait to hear that holiday music over and over and over….. I figure there’s no better place to be than where Santa will hang out everyday.
Luke went out of the country on his trip this time. I don’t talk to him much when he flies out of the US. Cell phone charges and all. But I think he’s doing well. At least he was the last time I talked to him.
So I hope this will tide you over until we meet again! Same blog, different time! Love you all! And enjoy the picture show below!

Minerva Vacation
Well, I finally got to show Jillian and Luke where Mommy grew up. Good ole Minerva, Ohio. We had an absolute blast. I got to see some old friends and the family got to spend the weekend in the country. I think Jillian’s favorite part was being able to scare people at the Haunted Spooky Trails. She wants to make a tradition out of it and go to Minerva every year sometime during October so she can do it again and again. I wouldn’t mind that a bit. I love visiting Minerva.
My friends also have an alpaca farm. I posted pictures of “my favorite alpacas” for your viewing pleasure. They are very unique creatures I must say. They aren’t afraid to come right up in your face, but they don’t like you to reach out to pet them. There is also a llama in the pen. He’s their protector, the alpaca bodygurad if you will.
Well, I’m pretty sure that will be the last of our adventures away from home for awhile. It’s time to prepare for hybernation. I will still have alot to write about and of course….PICTURES! So come back soon.
