Pumpkin Patch 2011

Filed under: Home Life — Toni @ 6:44 pm

Halloween is not Averi’s favorite holiday. She was scared more than once, tears included, attacked by goats and did not even want to dance with the partying Pumpkin Head character. But I still got some good shots. Happy Halloween!

Heeeeerrrrreeee’s Autumn! We’re in full Fall mode here at the Pieper house. Leaves and pumpkins have been the topic the past few days. As you can see from the photos we had plenty of leaves to play in and some pretty nice pumpkins to carve. The girls and I are going to a costume party this weekend so tune in for some more festive photos! Happy Halloween!

Averi’s First Day of Preschool

Filed under: Home Life — Toni @ 7:01 pm

Averi had a great first day at her new Preschool.  When we arrived to pick her up, she was playing and laughing with her classmates.  Jillian, Luke and I stood back and watched her for awhile admiring how big she was and how many new friends she had made.  Such a big girl!

Jillian’s 10th Birthday Sleepover Party!

Filed under: Home Life — Toni @ 11:24 am

So when the dust cleared after the party, there was 2 tired parents, 10 happy little girls and one dirty  house.  The party was a complete success with NO crying, NO fighting and NO one leaving in the middle of the night.  Having to use only two bandaids the entire night was an accomplishment to be noted as well.

So here you go… Miss Jillian’s Bottom of the Sea Birthday Bash!

Averi is 3! Yippee!

Filed under: Home Life — Toni @ 5:12 pm

Quick one today folks… if you are friends with Averi’s Grandma in Georgia on facebook than I think you’ve seen every picture I have of Averi’s Birthday.  If not, here are a couple.  Also we’re happy to announce there was a day when it was above 50 degrees so we went outside.  Yes we went outside.

Catch up time!

Filed under: Home Life — Toni @ 6:51 pm

Yes, I know, I’m slacking.  The holidays came and went and you didn’t even get to see any pictures.   My humble apologies to those of you that count on pictures of the girls.  So, included in today’s blog is Jillian’s karate tournament, Christmas, Luke’s Birthday and our first family ski trip to Cascade Mountain.

Oh my busy November….

Filed under: Home Life — Toni @ 7:00 pm

Ok, I’m not complaining, but holy cow has this month been busy.  I am so ready for the Thanksgiving Holiday to be here.  That’s very unusual for me to say because I usually have frozen pizza all by myself on that day.   But this year the entire family will be together to enjoy Luke’s turkey dinner.

So here’s what we’ve been up to… one school project, with a partner,  one school play, that required a lot of after school rehearsals and karate practice.  By the way, Jillians’ in another tournament on December 5th.

Here’s the photo’s of the project and the play.  Tune in later for the results of the tournament which is in Tinley Park.  For you southerners, that’s a suburb of Chicago.  She’s going to the Big City to fight this time.  Look out Chicago the KP Kid is coming your way!

Halloweenfest at the High School

Filed under: Home Life — Toni @ 6:05 am

Every year all the high school kids that are in some type of club put on an adorable Halloween Fest.  This year Daddy was home to attend and Averi was big enough to play the games so it was FUN for all.

Jillian’s becoming a big girl and requesting she pals around with her friends instead of hanging with the lame parents and little siste, so she’s not in many pictures.  That wouldn’t be cool taking all those pictures at her age.  But plenty to see of Miss Averi.  She played every game and even made a bird feeder out of a pine cone, peanut butter and some bird seed.  I threw in some photos from the 2008 Halloween Fest too.
